Dogs Welcome! bought Mad City Dog Training on June 8, 2011. Under new ownership, we are working hard at "making it our own".
Our new website is under construction; our building and grounds are getting updates, improvements and renovations left and right; and we are revamping our curriculum, adding new classes, and replacing Agility equipment with all the latest and best available.
Our focus is primarily on family dogs and making sure you and your pet can live together in peace! And then go on to do fun stuff together!
Our staff is made up of most of the same people you already know and trust and we are still here to provide you with General Puppy and Adult Dog Training for Socialization and Everyday Manners; Agility Training; and Doggy Daycare, as well as Private Training Lessons for you and your dog.

History of Mad City Dog Training - Recently purchased by Dogs Welcome! Training and Daycare
Mad City Dog Training, LLC was established in October of 1997 to fill a need in the Madison area for a positive motivation teaching format. On July 1, 2001 construction was completed on the current facility, a 15,000 square foot training center located at 813 Post Road. Our facility offers a friendly atmosphere with indoor climate controlled rooms. Our floors are fully matted with 54,000 pounds of 3/4" thick solid rubber flooring for the health and safety of the dogs.
Our facility provides three separate training rooms that are used seven days a week for doggy daycare and/or training classes. The Agility room is 6,000 square feet. The puppy training room is 3,000 square feet. Doggy daycare uses one of the 3,000 square foot rooms during the day, while classes are often held in there in the evening and on the weekends. The daycare room has adjacent to it large outdoor play areas!
Positive reinforcement training methods are employed at every level of our training classes.
